It was lovely seeing you and Gaston again. As you can see, we are still in love with the house you and Gaston built for us in 1995. You both did a great job. We greatly benefited from your advice and from the flexibility shown by you and Viceroy in adapting the house to our dreams and to our budget. We have told everyone how amazed we were that you could build this house for us even though we were living in Japan at the time. The building met all our requirements including the need for it to be completed on the specific date of our return from Japan. Thanks to your excellent management skills, we could move in straight from the airport. Now that's efficiency! You were also diligent in keeping us informed of progress both on the construction and on your meeting the budget targets for the various stages of the construction. We are sure that you must have kept a close check on the various contractors since now, 13 years later, we are still totally satisfied with the quality of the construction. We appreciated the fact that you pointed out to us the financial impact of the various decisions we had to take so that we could decide with all the crucial elements in hand. We were impressed by the rigor and the honesty of your management, including the fact that you were careful in how you handled our money to pay off the various contractors. Finally and not the least, thanks to your initiative, we were able to benefit from a new government program which refunded taxes for the construction by new homeowners. You took the time to find out about the program, gather all the receipts, fill out the lengthy forms and make us the lucky receivers of a substantial sum of money. Again a million thanks.
